Wethersfield is a small community that hosts many annual events. The Cove Side Carnival is a festive event where attendees can enjoy food, games, and rides with free admission. The Annual Holidays on Main Celebration is another town tradition that offers wagon rides and a silent auction at the Webb Barn, along with an annual tree lighting event. The Bicycles on Main event is also held along Main Street each spring, where bicycles are decorated and put on display in front of Colonial homes, museums, and local restaurants and shops. 
 
Each summer, Porchfest is held to commemorate the end of the season, including a variety of live musical performances and delicious food vendors along Main Street in Old Wethersfield.
Locals also frequent the weekly Farmer’s Market, where you can find a variety of fresh produce and handmade goods.
