Meet Kate King

My name is Kate King and I’ve lived in the beautiful town of West Hartford for 10 years. I grew up in Bedford, NY and met my husband TJ in San Diego. A graduate of Hall High School we frequently visited Hartford and his family prior to moving. I fell in love with the vibrant town, the people, gorgeous parks, and all that it had to offer. When we started a family, I knew it was where we wanted to live. We now reside in the Duffy district in West Hartford with our two children, Will + Payton, and our dog Louie. 

I am an accomplished Real Estate Professional and have been part of one of the top teams in CT for almost 10 years. My previous experience + education in architecture, + design gives me a unique perspective and advantage in real estate. I graduated from Hobart William Smith with a BA in Architecture and spent close to 9 years assistant project managing + drafting for residential + commercial architecture firms. My abilities can help sellers stage their home for sale + prepare for professional photography, maximize exposure of a property with knowledge of the latest marketing platforms, show buyers potential in a home + work through complex transactions to a successful close. I believe trust and communication are essential for a successful business relationship. I want my clients to feel safe + protected + know they have someone in their corner doing whatever it takes while making (in most cases) the largest financial decision of their life.
